The hair on Tina is posed to be fluffy. Like she has taken a dip in the ocean. When the hair dries it is not so perfect anymore. Something like that.

Transparent hair meshes, like the front hair, are rendered in isolation to fix hair problems. For some time I have struggled with an error, where such meshes when rendered alone would produce light grey highlights on their transparent areas. The problem seems to be that the hair texture is missing an alpha map. I switched the png hair textures for tga versions from another porter and the problem went away. 

Shoulders easily look bad when arms are posed above head. There is a muscle (trapezius) that connects the neck with the upper arms(deltoids). The traps looks fine when arms are posed below the shoulder line, but when arms are posed above it, the traps disappear. You get the sensation that a big piece of flesh is missing. To get around this problem I used two Tina models. One with arms at normal position scaled to 0 so arm doesn't show, but you still get the default look of the traps. And one model with arm posed above head. This way I could get the shoulders to look slightly better.
